Workshops, Retreats and Seminars
The Spiritual Parent?
Or "How Not to Be the Rock Blocking Your
Kid's Path"
Who may attend?: Anyone, but specifically encouraged are parents, teachers, etc.
When and Where?: TBDth at 127 N. Higgins Suite 206
Time?: 9:00am. until 3:00pm. We'll break for lunch about 12:00 noon and resume at 1:30pm.
Cost?: $100
This workshop will be a working experience in which we will first review or learn some
simple and basic tools. All of us look to our own experience as we relate to others, and this is
especially true when dealing with our children. We've heard noted and perhaps echoed that the younger
generation is going to the dogs, going to rack and ruin, etc. Aristotle lent his voice to similar
observations. What's really happening is that children, as they go through each phase of life,
light up in their parents, and other adults, their matching or similar experiences from their own child hood. The parent,
whether we know it or not, we as parents have a highly emotional decision to make, and most often it is made
unconsciously. The question is, "Do I perpetuate what was my experience, or do I move out of that space
and see my child for themselves not through my past?". Our choice is for an amazing process of healing
ourselves and stepping out of the programming of our childhoods, or perpetuating the dysfunction in our kids.
Do not plan to bring children, this is adults only.
Please do call to let me know of your intention to attend so I can make sure there's ample room. If you
call and get
the machine, just leave a message. Many thanks!
Who Are You?
Or Perhaps a Better Title for You
Is "Who Am I?"
Who may attend?: Anyone with an interest in being on their path.
When and Where?: Will be rescheduledth at 127 N. Higgins Suite 206
Time?: 9:00am. until 3:00pm. We'll break for lunch about 12:00 noon and resume at 1:30pm.
Cost?: $75
This workshop will be a working experience in which we will first review or learn some
simple and basic tools. Armed with these, we will explore together the factors that constrain us from
being able to know our path and follow it. We've all heard the admonition "Face your fears!", but that is
for all of us a daunting proposition. How about we determine the source of the fear and deal with that.
Many
us are very intelligent and talented, yet have something that we "just can't" do. Often something
reasonably simple. What blocks our efforts?
Well, often it is just little things keeping us from being on our path or at least being able to clearly
see the direction it would take us if we were on it.
This workshop will be a send-off for you to enjoy some nice walks along your very own, personal path,
and a nice
send-off to summer.
Please do call to let me know of your intention to attend so I can make sure there's ample room. If you
call and get
the machine, just leave a message. Many thanks!
